In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- You will become a part of a global company, where you focus on one of our strategic markets, China.
- Leading the strategic reginal go-to market strategy and activation of existing probiotic supplement portfolio short as well as long term.
- Being a team player working closely together with the market expansion team, sales, customer and global headquarter functions.
- Act as a country expert to drive growth in human health areas, channels, and regulations, in collaboration with local sales teams and global portfolio function.
- Applying an entrepreneurial business development mindset capturing and acting upon opportunities for growth in the Chinese market.
- Enhance sales and margin growth by leveraging global portfolio and country opportunities.
- Support key customer engagement activities and portfolio innovation to shape local strategies.
- Analyze market segments and channels to identify growth opportunities, with a focus on the Chinese market and key accounts.
- Monitor and understand the sales performance each quarter, using financial dashboards to ensure sustainable growth in China.
- Developing a strong understanding of the market dynamics and by analyzing key market intelligence to capture new business opportunities.
- Maintain global portfolio standards while customizing solutions for key customers in China.
To succeed you must hold:
- Master of Business Management or alternatively relevant scientific background (nutrition and health) with commercial experience.
- 10+ years’ experience in B2B or B2C market and competitors’ analysis, commercial development, strategic planning, portfolio management and innovation.
- Experience with pharma or consumer healthcare customer interactions preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, while also comfortable and proficient in navigating a large organization and stakeholders, ability to work independently, remote from direct manager and team
- Excellent strategic thinker, analytical and problem solver, solid understanding of the markets and the dynamics.
- Ability to influence the organization with strong presenting and communications skills in English and Mandarin.
- Strong IT skills, focus on Excel and PowerPoint, willing to travel globally and locally.
