The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or long-term improvement planning.
Key responsibilities include:
1.Act as the key interface with the supplier relative to supplier development, quality control and process improvement.
2.Establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality procedures and requirements
3.Work closely with various divisions of functions to conduct First Piece Qualification (FPQ), quality surveillance, and capacity audits
4.Assistant in the supplier approval process including manufacturing, technology, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) risk analysis
5.Collaborate with manager in setting realistic and challenging operational goals, and contribute to their accomplishment
6.Deliver results as measured by key metrics, such as supplier yield, COF/COQ, NCR, supplier quality plan engagement/effectiveness, and corrective & preventative action closure
7.Monitor supplier non-conformance performance, and drive root-cause analyses, corrective actions and process improvements to reduce the NCR and COQ

Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with at least 3 years of experience in sourcing quality and or related quality area
2.Familiar with eSMS and supplier approval, audit and surveillance process
3.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
4.Passion for excellence with high integrity, commitment to quality and is willing to travel
5.Strong oral and written communication skills
6.Teamwork spirit
7.Open to work with cross function
8.Ability to communicate in oral and written English/Chinese.
